Ciasteczka z m&m


Ingredients

100 g brown sugar (1/2 cup)
100 g white sugar (1/2 cup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
175 g butter, room temperature (3/4 cup)
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
300 g flour (2 and 1/2 cup)
pinch of salt
1 tsp baking soda
about 200 g (1 cup) M&M (or similar chocolate candy)

Directions
Preheat oven to 180 º C (350 º F), and cover three baking sheets with paper parchment
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt beat the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg and egg yolk, beating until well combined. The add in the vanilla extract, and mix.
Add the flour, salt and baking soda to the creamed mixture and using a spatula mix just until incorporated
Divide batter into 25-30 portions, and using your hands shape every portion into a ball. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, quite separated since they will spread in the oven.
Using the palm of your hand, flatten each ball into a patty
Cover cookie with M & M’s. Gently press the candies into the dough
Bake for 10-15 minutes, until they are golden brown on the edges. Remove from oven and let the cookies cool a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool
